Goli Nutrition Dreamy Sleep Gummies Review and Discount Code

I recently started using Goli Nutrition Dreamy Sleep gummies, and I'm so happy that I gave them a try 💫 😴 ❤️

I've suffered from insomnia that started after a traumatic event in my life, and sleep has been a struggle ever since. It seems like I've tried everything. Some things work, some work for a while, and some just don't work at all or give me side effects. I was worried that this Goli sleep supplement may not work or may be too strong and give me side effects. I'm happy to report that after using Goli's Dreamy Sleep, I woke up feeling great for the first time in a long time. The sense of well-being after a good night's sleep is priceless! If you've ever had a rough night's sleep, you know how it can affect just about everything.

Goli Dreamy Sleep gummies let me fall asleep more quickly, and I woke less often. I also fell back asleep without trying or struggling like usual. I didn't experience any side effects or grogginess. I only need to take one gummy, as lower doses of melatonin work best for me.

Each gummy contains:

Vitamin D 2.5 mcg
Magnesium 25 mg
Sodium 7.5 mg
Lemon Balm Extract 45 mg
Herbal Blend- 20mg:
Tart Cherry Powder
Chamomile Extract
Passion Flower Extract

Melatonin 2.5 mg

Suggested use: 2 gummies at bedtime

Free from:
Yeast, wheat, milk, eggs, gluten, soy, gelatin, peanuts, shellfish, dairy, synthetic colours, agave.

Seven Beauty Tips for Women

Seven Beauty Tips for Women

Looking good is important to most women. It can give you a boost of confidence, make you feel more attractive, and even help you get ahead in certain areas of your life. This article will discuss seven beauty tips, from using a lash lift kit to drinking plenty of water—these are tips that every woman should know.

1. Wear Sunscreen Regularly

Wearing sunscreen every day helps to prevent sun damage and keeps your skin looking young and healthy. Sunscreen works by absorbing or reflecting the sun’s UV rays, which can cause premature aging and increase your risk of skin cancer. When choosing a sunscreen, it’s important to look for one that offers broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays. And be sure to choose a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 to ensure adequate protection. Apply sunscreen generously to all exposed areas of skin, including your face, neck, ears, and hands. And don’t forget to reapply every two hours, or more often if you’re sweating or swimming.

2. Use a Quality Moisturizer

A good moisturizer is an essential part of any beauty routine. Moisturizers help to keep your skin hydrated, which can prevent dryness, flaking, and fine lines. When choosing a moisturizer, it’s important to select one that’s appropriate for your skin type. If you have oily skin, look for a light, oil-free moisturizer. If you have dry skin, opt for a heavier cream or lotion. And if you have sensitive skin, be sure to choose a hypoallergenic product. Apply your moisturizer after washing, both in the morning and before bed, for the best results.

3. Get Plenty of Sleep

It isn’t called “beauty sleep” for no reason.  Getting enough rest is crucial for maintaining your health and appearance. When you’re well-rested, your skin looks brighter and more radiant. You may also find that you have fewer wrinkles and dark circles under your eyes. So aim to get seven to eight hours of sleep each night, and you’ll be on your way to looking and feeling your best.

4. Drink Plenty of Water

Staying hydrated is important for your overall health, and it can also help you look your best. When you’re properly hydrated, your skin looks plumper and more youthful. Drinking plenty of water can also help to prevent dry, flaky skin. And it can even give you a temporary boost in energy levels.

5. Less Is More When It Comes to Makeup

While it’s fun to experiment with different makeup looks, most often, less is more. When you wear too much makeup, it can cake and settle into fine lines and wrinkles. It can also make your pores look larger and cause your skin to break out. So when in doubt, go for a natural look, using your makeup and a lash lift kit to highlight your natural features instead.

6. Eat Healthy Foods

What you eat has a direct impact on your skin, hair, and nails. Eating plenty of fruits, vegetables, and lean protein can help to give you a healthy glow. And avoiding processed foods, sugary drinks, and excessive alcohol can help to keep your skin looking its best. So be sure to include plenty of nutritious foods in your diet.

7. Exfoliate Your Skin Regularly

Exfoliating helps to remove dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. This can help to improve the appearance of your skin and make it feel softer and smoother. When exfoliating, be sure to use a product that’s appropriate for your skin type. And avoid scrubbing too hard, as this can irritate pores and cause unattractive inflammation.

Conclusion

By following these simple tips, you can keep looking your best. So choose products that are appropriate for your skin type, and don’t be afraid to experiment until you find what works best for you.

Monthly Empties | Health, Beauty, Hair, Makeup

This empties post is long overdue! My empties bin has been overflowing for months and I had to recycle some just so this post wasn't too long and/or redundant.

Here, I'll share what I used up or what I'm discarding for one reason or another with mini reviews, and whether I would repurchase them or not.

Links to products will be provided in the headings if I can find one.

Hair

This is the large sized bottle and it took me forever to use it up. I quite liked it but I recently tried FoxyBae's Leave-in Hair Mask (featured here) and I am preferring it to the It's a 10, at the moment.

Repurchase- I would like to try the version with keratin

I've always loved Biolage. This conditioning balm is great for dry and dehydrated hair. It definitely helps leave my dry hair feeling softer.

Repurchase- Yes

Skincare

Garnier Micellar Water for Dry/Sensitive Skin 400ml/ $15

This is a fabulous Micellar water. I use it as my AM cleanse and in the evening as my toner. It removes makeup, dirt, and oil and is gentle and doesn't dry out my skin.

Repurchase - Yes

I had really high hopes for this serum and I suppose it was okay but it didn't wow me. I did not notice any anti aging benefits like I did with the Sympli Peptide Serum listed below, now that one wowed me!!

Repurchase- Probably not but I'm not against trying it again because of the reasonable price

This is a great alternative to Prescription Retin A! I used it in place of my Retin A when I had run out and it made my skin look and feel great and it only takes a few drops. It's like a dry oil, and it is hydrating and non irritating. I found that I could use it in places where I can't apply my Retin A like the mouth and nose areas etc.

Repurchase- Yes, if I'm out of my prescription Retin A

This peptide serum blew me away! I read the reviews on iHerb when I saw it in the sale section of the website and I couldn't believe the reviews on it, so I had to try it for myself. Within 2 uses, my skin was so smoothed out and appeared much tighter aka less sagging. Read my full review on it here. There are no incentives to leave a positive review on iHerb, so I should have known but they just made it sound too good to be true. Luckily, it IS that good! You can use discount code AGU725 to get a discount on iHerb

Repurchase- I NEVER want to be without it! I have purchased 4 more so far!

I enjoyed using this moisturizer as it is nice and soothing and hydrating. I don't notice any special anti aging benefits aside from moisturization, so I probably wouldn't purchase it because of its price tag. I find that I can get other moisturizers that perform just as well for less money. eg. Cetaphil Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid.

Repurchase- If at a great price

Unfortunately, I was only able to use this on my neck as it made me breakout when I used it on my face. I did enjoy using it on my neck overtop of my serums and moisturizers to seal them in.

Repurchase- Possible for my neck only. Trying other neck creams for now

Makeup

Marc Jacobs Shameless Ýouthful Look Longwear Foundation 32ml/ $27

I loved this "foundation." I would consider it more of a BB cream or tinted moisturizer. It was very hydrating and had light-medium coverage that was very natural, just the way I like it. I found a cheap dupe though- Elf's BB Cream performs exactly the same for me at a fraction of the price! Read more about it here

Repurchase- If I find it at a great price again at Winner's or Marshall's!

Loved this mascara! It gave me the big and long lashes that I love! It retails for about $24. I don't mind forking out that much money for a mascara for a special occasion, but for everyday use, I prefer to use something more affordable that gives me similar results like Essence Lash Princess Mascara for $5.

Jennifer's Nude has been my favourite nude lipstick since it launched years ago! It's a pink/ nude and I think it would suit a lot of people. I still love it but don't wear lipstick very often since we are still wearing masks. Instead, I opt for tinted lip balms like Burt's Bees.

This was a gift from an online buddy and it became my favourite lip gloss. The colour is just what I like, a bit of a nude/ pink, my lips but better shade. It's super hydrating and really does make my lips look much fuller! There isn't any tingle or burn or anything, but it does work to make lips look more plump!

Health

I'm not that picky about my Vitamin D3 supplements, I just happen to enjoy taking them in a gummy form as it makes them convenient to take, and they're yummy so it's easy to remember to take them. I also prefer the 1000IU so I can customize my dose and take more or less, depending on whether I'm getting a lot of sunshine or not. My blood levels of vitamin D are good, so I will continue to take it.

Repurchase- Yes

Vitamin Code is my current favourite multi vitamin. I am rotating between this version for Women 50+ and the one below geared towards Women in general. I love that these are whole food vitamins that our bodies recognize and I feel better when I take them. I feel like they regulate my body as I sleep better and feel better overall. Garden of Life has several versions including ones for men, over 40 etc. Have a look at the ingredients and see which one has what your looking for. You really cannot go wrong with this brand, IMO.  Note: I sometimes take half of the recommended dose, depending on how I'm feeling, just to make my dollar go further.

Repurchase- Absolutely!

My thoughts on this multi are the same as for the one above by the same brand, just a different version.

Repurchase- Already have!

I literally cannot live without this product! I have severe and chronic insomnia and this works wonders for me considering how bad my insomnia is. I take half of the recommended dose as that works best for me and also makes the product last twice as long. I take one tablet nightly and once my sleep starts to become more restless, I then take a break from this supplement (or any melatonin containing supplement), after a short break, I can return to it and it works great. Sometimes I take one if I wake prematurely and it usually helps me go back to sleep. I've also found it at Costco.

Repurchase- Yes!

Astragalus is an adaptogenic herb with amino acids, trace minerals, and polyphenols. It's a great tonic and immune booster. It works as an antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory, and anti aging properties. I took it for adrenal fatigue and felt it worked well for that. I have also taken it in the past when my immune system plummeted after I was struck by a streetcar, and I found that it did indeed boost my immune system as I stopped getting sick all the time. Note: I took the Now Foods brand of Astragalus and will continue to take that brand.

Repurchase- Yes, I would purchase Astragalus by Now Foods in the future

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I used up and maybe found some of the information helpful. Remember to always consult with your healthcare practitioner before beginning any new supplements.

See you next week!

The Best Multivitamin For Women Over 50

stock photo

I've been into supplements for as long as I can remember. I always believed that nature has a cure for most ailments, so I'm always searching for the best supplements to suit my needs and improve my life or health in some way. As a result, I've tried countless multivitamins. Most have little to no effect on me until my most recent discovery.

As we go through life, our needs are ever changing, so it's a good idea to look at those needs and find vitamins that address the current state of your health. It's also important to get blood work done to check your various levels and speak to your Doctor about any supplements you want to begin.

For me, it wasn't until the last few years that I started finding multivitamins that really made a difference in how I felt. It all started with the brand, Garden of Life- Who's probiotics have been a part of my life for over 20 years now! Their My Kind multivitamin was my favourite a couple of years ago. It really made a difference in how I was feeling overall. I love Garden of Life's vitamins for the quality, and because they are food based, and free of all the nasties.

Eventually, I decided to try their Vitamin Code multivitamin to see if I liked it better. I started with the one for Women and felt even better than I had with their My Kind Multi. I continued taking those for about 2 years, I'd say. Then recently, after hitting 50+, I decided to give their Vitamin Code for Women over 50 a shot. I figured if I felt better on the previous one, I'd just go back to it. Well, there will be no turning back- I feel even better on the one for Women over 50! I have more energy and  I am sleeping better- which says a lot because I've have long-standing and severe insomnia since 2002. My sleep isn't perfect by any means, but there is enough of an improvement that I will continue to buy this multi, even with it's steep-ish price tag compared to some drugstore multis. It's fair to say that when it comes to multivitamins, you get what you pay for. I still take other supplements alongside this multi, but if I was to only take one supplement, Vitamin Code 50 & Wiser Women, would be it.

I purchased the bottle with 120 veg caps and it's recommended to take 4 per day, however, I only take 2 per day. I may increase to see if there are even more improvements. I've been taking them for a month and I can definitely say, it's the best multivitamin that I've taken so far. A multivitamin won't replace a great diet, but it can definitely help to fill in the gaps.

Let's have a look at what makes these vitamins so incredible:

Retail $32USD /120 Veg caps

These vitamins are a bit pricey but worth it. I really trust the quality and I'm definitely reaping the benefits. I am also getting a 2 month supply by taking half of the recommended dose, at least for now. I can honestly say, after loads of trial and lots of error, this is my favourite multi to date.

They also have multivitamins for Men, Men over 50, a general one for Women, a weight loss multi, as well as Prenatal ones, etc. There is definitely something for everyone's needs. I honestly think that you can't go wrong with this brand. Just find the one that has the ingredients that meet your needs and give it a try, it may take some trial and error to find the right one, but it will be worth it.

Have a look and let me know if you try them.

iHerb Haul | Best Multivitamin, Skincare, Health Over 50

I'm back with a second iHerb Haul this month! I don't usually have 2 hauls in 1 month but I had to go back for an item, so here we are. Last haul linked here.

If you're not familiar with iHerb, they are my favourite place to shop all things health and beauty. If you are looking for something, they probably have it, and probably for much cheaper than anywhere else. Even with the exchange rate here in Canada and shipping, it's still usually much cheaper.

Let's peep my latest shopping trip..

Garden of Life's Vitamin Code For Women 50+ - 120 Veg caps/ $32

Vitamin Code is my favourite multivitamin of all times. I usually purchase a different version but decided to try this one geared towards Woman over 50 to see if I like it any better than my current favourite. Plus, I'm saving a TON of money by purchasing these from iHerb! The cost is more than double to purchase this product from retailers here in Canada.

Vitamin Code is a whole food vitamin and the quality is stellar. With these multivitamins, I actually notice a difference in how I feel, have less hair fall out, feel more balanced, and improved sleep. They have formulas for men and women as well as one-a-day formulas, over 40, over 50, and prenatal, so there is something for everyone.

  • Raw Whole Food Supplement
  • Live Probiotics & Enzymes
  • 23 Organically Grown Fruits & Veggies
  • No Binders or Fillers
  • Kosher
  • Non GMO Project Verified
  • Gluten Free
  • RAW
  • Vegetarian

This homeopathic remedy has many uses. I'll be trying it for my ongoing sleep issues as I haven't tried this remedy yet and it matches my sleep issues quite well. Its main use is for the healing of surgical wounds. but like most homeopathic remedies, they can have many other uses. I'm crossing my fingers and toes for this to work!

I'm currently taking another brand of Evening Primrose Oil that I picked up at my local grocery store when it was on sale. When I looked at repurchasing it, the prices here were SO much higher than on iHerb. This one was such a great deal, that I had to pick it up!

Evening Primrose has so many health and beauty benefits, that it is a staple in my supplements routine. It's an excellent supplement for women, and is supposed to be great for women pre and post menopause. I only take 1 per day.

"GLA (gamma-Linolenic acid), and linolenic acid are essential, polyunsaturated fatty acids. They are used by most cells in the body to produce soothing prostaglandins (intracellular hormone-like messengers), which help maintain the balance of many functions in the body."

As with any supplement, check with your Doctor before taking.

This serum was on sale for only $11 and the reviews on it were SO good that I had to try it! Most of the reviews raved about this serums ability to firm skin. Firming the skin is a pretty tough feat and also the kind of thing I look for most in my skincare, so it was basically a no-brainer.

  • Chamomile & Bergamot Age-Defying Serum
  • Peptide Complex plus Hyaluronic Acid
  • Beautifully Cruelty Free
  • Free of Sulfates, Parabens & Silicone

"Sympli  Beautiful Firming Triple Peptide Serum utilizes multiple peptides to help stimulate the skin, encouraging it to look more plump and firm while relaxing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. This beautiful chamomile and bergamot infused serum delivers remarkable visual improvements."

Wisdom Natural, SweetLeaf Stevia Sweet Drops in English Toffee - 60ml/ $8.29

I normally purchase Now Foods English Toffee Stevia, but they were out of stock, so I took a chance on this brand. It has great reviews, so I don't think I have much to lose. I use English Toffee Stevia drops to make my iced coffees. It adds that extra flavour that makes my iced coffees rival luxury coffee houses. I also use it in baking, smoothies etc. It only takes a few drops so these little bottles last for years!

  • No Sugars
  • No Artificial Ingredients
  • Flavored Stevia Sweetener
  • Non GMO Project Verified

These homeopathic tablets are basically the reason for this whole order. It's something that I always have to have on hand. I take it for sleep and it's not magic but it often helps. It is very subtle but often just what I need to go back to sleep when I wake up prematurely.

I've yet to find it here in Canada and if I do find it online somewhere other than iHerb, it's more than double the price. If you use a discount code, which I always do, it ends up being even less expensive.

  • Nervous Tension
  • Irritability
  • Sleeplessness

Uses: For the temporary relief of minor occasional simple nervous tension and irritability to help occasional sleeplessness

iHerb is really a place for one-stop-shopping. They have everything you could want from groceries, to health, and beauty products. It's a great place to shop and they have amazing customer service, too.

Use code AGU725 or this link to save money on your next order! Good for new and existing customers.

iHerb Haul | Haircare, Makeup, Skincare, Supplements

It's been SO long since I shared an iHerb Haul! I still shop there but not as often as I used to. Prices are always cheaper on iHerb than they are at shops here in Canada but I guess I've mostly been wanting immediate gratification as of late.

The order made it to me so quickly and I thought I'd share what I purchased while the sales are still on.

I ordered a couple of new-to-me beauty products because the sale prices were amazing and so were the reviews on them!

Links to products are provided in the headings.

The reviews on this product were phenomenol, so I'm excited to try it out for my bleached and damaged hair.

I already own about a thousand different hair oils, but I couldn't resist this one after reading some articles about how much Grapeseed Oil benefits dry, brittle hair like mine. And, for the price, I couldn't pass up trying it out. It can also be used as face and body moisturizer, and as a carrier oil for essential oils.

About:

For sensitive skin in need of an all natural moisturizer and protection from premature aging, without clogging pores and causing breakouts.

Solution: 100% Pure Grapeseed Oil is a light, odorless oil with mild astringent and emollient properties. Its rich, silky texture is perfect for soothing away dryness and irritation and is suitable for all skin types since it won't clog pores or cause break-outs. Grapeseed Oil is perfect as a base for lotions, and it's mild enough to use as a conditioner for all hair types.

Kosette, Sanitizer Wipes, Alcohol-Free, 20 Wipes / Super Deal .70cents

I couldn't pass these up for the price! These days, you can never have enough hand sanitizer wipes and I love that they are alcohol-free.

About:

Kills 99.9% of bacteria

Safe for all, our alcohol-free formula effectively disinfects hands and surfaces with Benzalkonium Chloride cloth.

I couldn't pass up this 10 pack of disposable masks for just one dollar! That's better than the dollar store. I normally use reusable masks but during these times, it can't hurt to have some extra masks on hand.

That's it for this iHerb haul! Not a big one, but I'm excited to try some of these products out! Shipping was a flat rate of only $2.41 to Canada and taxes were prepaid, so no worries of those expensive brokerage fees! I placed my order on May 27th and received it on June 4th (although the estimated delivery showed June 14th). I always receive my orders way before the estimated delivery date.

iHerb is really a place for one-stop-shopping. They have everything you could want from groceries, to health, and beauty products. It's a great place to shop and they have amazing customer service, too.

April Empties | Health, Beauty, Skincare, Makeup

Hey, Everyone!

Hope all is well with you.

I'm back to share my April Empties. As always, I'll share a brief review of each item and links to products in the headings whenever possible.

HEALTH

I've been drinking this immune-boosting cocoa powder for years. Just add a scoop to your smoothie in the morning for a delicious and nutritious energy-boosting drink. It has so many health benefits and tastes great!

Repurchase- Already have

This is the first time that I tried the Kirkland brand Q10. I'm not sure about the quality. I prefer to purchase the Kaneka type of Q10 by Healthy Origins but the brand it was out of stock so I'm now trying out Country Life Q10 as it is also the Kaneka type of Q10, so far I like it much better than the Kirkland one.

Repurchase- Unlikely

I really like this brand for many of their supplements. This was my first time trying this particular product that contains adaptogenic herbs along with B vitamins to help with stress. Unfortunately, I didn't notice a difference while taking them. I will go back to AdrenaSense for now or straight up Rhodiola as they work better for me.

Repurchase- No

I've never been so consistent with taking my D3 every day until I got these gummies, because YUM! But do they work? Yes, I'd say that they do as I hadn't had any sun for months and my D levels in my blood work are in the normal range since taking these. I am trying out the Vitafusion ones' at the moment, they seem just as good.

Repurchase- Yes

Another product I've been using for years. I take them at bedtime and throughout the night when I wake up. I don't feel any noticeable difference after taking them but they often help me fall back asleep, so they must be having some effect on my system.

Repurchase- Already have

Another staple in my routine. It's an all-natural supplement made with Bach flowers. It seems to help take a bit of the edge off and helps me sleep in conjunction with my other sleep remedies. It's one I like to have on hand and I also take it when I wake up too early to help me fall back asleep. Doesn't always work, but I believe it does help so it's worth it to me.

Repurchase Already have

BEAUTY / SKINCARE

This is a liquid form a coconut oil that doesn't become solid when the temperature is cold- perfect for those of us with 4 seasons. I use it for baking, as a hair treatment, to remove makeup sometimes, and to massage on my cat's gums for oral health.

Repurchase- Yes

I love this brand for my dry and frizzy hair. My favourite product by them is their leave-in conditioner called Fast Food, which was recommended by my hairstylist over 10 years ago and I keep going back to it! I found that this shampoo and conditioner did help with my dry and frizzy hair.

Repurchase- I would if I ever finish up what I have!

This is my go-to bubble bath product. I use it every time I have a bath and throw in some Epsom salts, too. I also use their other scents and rotate them depending on my mood. This is all-natural, smells fantastic, and so affordable. Can't be beat in my opinion.

Repurchase- Yes

I love products like this but many of them clog my pores and make be breakout- luckily, this one does not. I like to use this as my last step at nighttime and feel like it locks in all of the moisture and ingredients from my serums and moisturizers. I use it several times a week or whenever I remember. lol

Repurchase- Possibly (currently testing out this one by Aveeno which is more affordable and seems to do the same thing)

I really like the ingredients of this skincare booster. I wasn't consistent with it enough to notice if it really made a difference as I used it on and off. I do like this brand and the prices are good so I would try it again but make sure to use it consistently next time.

Repurchase- Yes
MAKEUP

Essence Brow Gel Mascara
This isn't completely empty yet but it's yucky enough that I've already replaced it. It's super affordable, cruelty-free and gets the job done. I see no reason to spend a lot of money on a clear brow gel.

Repurchase- Already have

Tarte Tartiest Glossy Lip Paint (Free Sephora Birthday Sample)
This was a decent gloss, it felt great on my lips as it was very hydrating. It's definitely a pretty, everyday colour. I just don't see a reason to spend a lot of money most lipglosses. I believe the shade is Rosy Nude.

Repurchase- No

LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Natural GC972
This is my favourite concealer! It is great on blemishes and redness as well as for under the eyes as it is not drying and doesn't get cakey- perfect for aging skin like mine! This tube lasted forever too! There is a little bit left but it's VERY old and expired and I have many others to use up before I repurchase this. Oh, it's cruelty-free too.

Repurchase- Absolutely!

Hope you enjoyed seeing what I finished up and found my mini-reviews helpful!

See you next week and stay safe, everyone! 💗

Everyday Health and Wellness: Focus on Self-Care Without Busting Your Budget

Everyday Health and Wellness: Focus on Self-Care Without Busting Your Budget

Keeping yourself healthy, mentally and physically, doesn’t need to cost a small fortune. You don’t need a pricey gym membership to stay fit or an exotic vacation to relax. Instead, practice everyday self-care strategies that promote head-to-toe wellness but don’t bust your budget.

Get Enough Quality Sleep

While you are asleep, your body heals, your cells replenish, and your brain commits new information to memory. Most experts agree that seven to nine hours of sleep each night is the proper amount for most people. However, according to the American Sleep Association, 35.3 percent of adults are getting less than seven hours of sleep each night.

Chronic sleep problems can lead to fatigue, impatience, irritability, and inability to concentrate. Over time, sleep deprivation affects immunity, metabolism, and weight. Lack of sleep is also linked to diabetes, heart issues, high blood pressure, some forms of cancer, and other diseases. You can reduce insomnia and other sleep problems by exercising regularly, as well as avoiding alcohol, caffeine, electronics, and overeating in the evenings. Talk to your doctor about lifestyle changes, healthy habits, and treatment options that may help you get a better night’s sleep.

Get a Massage Regularly

Stress can cause both physical and mental issues. If you love a good massage to relax and reduce stress, make it a point to get one regularly, whether from your partner or a pro. You can get inexpensive yet effective massages at a massage school. You might also consider purchasing a massage chair, particularly if you have a job that requires physical labor or standing all day. These come in a wide range of prices, but if you search online, you should be able to find some great deals on massage chairs. Additionally, look to sites like Rakuten for coupons and cashback offers to help maximize your savings. If you shop through Rakuten, you may also find deals for stores with free shipping. If all the massage chairs are beyond your budget, take a look at massage seat cushions instead.

Get Into Yoga

Regular yoga practice can improve sleep quality, energy levels, focus, and self-esteem. Physically, it improves balance, flexibility, muscle strength, blood flow, and posture. Yoga and meditation can also help if you are battling depression or anxiety, and can even reduce your risk of heart disease. You don’t need to pay for pricey yoga classes or drag yourself to a professional yoga studio every day. Instead, you can reap the benefits of yoga in your own home thanks to smartphone apps, video tutorials, and streaming YouTube channels.

Say ‘No’ More Often

It doesn’t cost a thing to say “no,” but it can improve your health and wellness. Being busy is often championed these days, but overscheduling yourself can cause health problems and burnout. Feel free to turn down invitations and requests to attend events, volunteer, work overtime, and so forth. There are only so many hours in a day. You don’t need to feel obligated to say “yes” to things you don’t have the energy, interest, money, and/or time to do.

Taking care of yourself — mind, body, and soul — is essential for your overall health and well-being. However, many people think they need to spend a lot of money to practice optimal self-care and healthy habits when, in fact, the opposite is true. A lavish vacation to a luxury resort or a personal trainer at the trendiest gym in town isn't what's standing between you and wellness. In fact, you don’t need to spend much money at all to focus on yourself and your health. Just follow these everyday habits and lifestyle changes to stay happy and healthy without putting a dent in your wallet.
