CocoaCeps Organic Dark Cocoa with Cordyceps + Reishi Mushrooms

I've been drinking this immune-boosting cocoa powder for years. Just add a scoop to your smoothie in the morning for a delicious and nutritious energy-boosting drink. It has so many health benefits and tastes great!

Kirkland Q10 100mg

This is the first time that I tried the Kirkland brand Q10. I'm not sure about the quality. I prefer to purchase the Kaneka type of Q10 by Healthy Origins but the brand it was out of stock so I'm now trying out Country Life Q10 as it is also the Kaneka type of Q10, so far I like it much better than the Kirkland one.

Repurchase- Unlikely

FemMed Stress Anxiety Management

I really like this brand for many of their supplements. This was my first time trying this particular product that contains adaptogenic herbs along with B vitamins to help with stress. Unfortunately, I didn't notice a difference while taking them. I will go back to AdrenaSense for now or straight up Rhodiola as they work better for me.

Webber Naturals D3 Gummies

I've never been so consistent with taking my D3 every day until I got these gummies, because YUM! But do they work? Yes, I'd say that they do as I hadn't had any sun for months and my D levels in my blood work are in the normal range since taking these. I am trying out the Vitafusion ones' at the moment, they seem just as good.

BHI Calming Homeopathic Remedy

Another product I've been using for years. I take them at bedtime and throughout the night when I wake up. I don't feel any noticeable difference after taking them but they often help me fall back asleep, so they must be having some effect on my system.

Bach Rescue Remedy for Sleep

Another staple in my routine. It's an all-natural supplement made with Bach flowers. It seems to help take a bit of the edge off and helps me sleep in conjunction with my other sleep remedies. It's one I like to have on hand and I also take it when I wake up too early to help me fall back asleep. Doesn't always work, but I believe it does help so it's worth it to me.

BEAUTY / SKINCARE

Nature's Way Liquid Coconut Oil

This is a liquid form a coconut oil that doesn't become solid when the temperature is cold- perfect for those of us with 4 seasons. I use it for baking, as a hair treatment, to remove makeup sometimes, and to massage on my cat's gums for oral health. 

Repurchase- Yes

AG Smooth Shampoo with Argan + Coconut Oil

I love this brand for my dry and frizzy hair. My favourite product by them is their leave-in conditioner called Fast Food, which was recommended by my hairstylist over 10 years ago and I keep going back to it! I found that this shampoo and conditioner did help with my dry and frizzy hair.

Repurchase- I would if I ever finish up what I have!

Live Clean Aromatherapy Foam Bath (Lavender Vanilla)

This is my go-to bubble bath product. I use it every time I have a bath and throw in some Epsom salts, too. I also use their other scents and rotate them depending on my mood. This is all-natural, smells fantastic, and so affordable. Can't be beat in my opinion.

Mirenesse Sleeping Beauty Moisture Revival Sleep Mask

I love products like this but many of them clog my pores and make be breakout- luckily, this one does not. I like to use this as my last step at nighttime and feel like it locks in all of the moisture and ingredients from my serums and moisturizers. I use it several times a week or whenever I remember. lol

Repurchase- Possibly (currently testing out this one by Aveeno which is more affordable and seems to do the same thing) 

Indeed Mineral Booster

I really like the ingredients of this skincare booster. I wasn't consistent with it enough to notice if it really made a difference as I used it on and off. I do like this brand and the prices are good so I would try it again but make sure to use it consistently next time.

MAKEUP

Essence Brow Gel Mascara
This isn't completely empty yet but it's yucky enough that I've already replaced it. It's super affordable, cruelty-free and gets the job done. I see no reason to spend a lot of money on a clear brow gel.

Tarte Tartiest Glossy Lip Paint (Free Sephora Birthday Sample)
This was a decent gloss, it felt great on my lips as it was very hydrating. It's definitely a pretty, everyday colour. I just don't see a reason to spend a lot of money most lipglosses. I believe the shade is Rosy Nude.

LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Natural GC972
This is my favourite concealer! It is great on blemishes and redness as well as for under the eyes as it is not drying and doesn't get cakey- perfect for aging skin like mine! This tube lasted forever too! There is a little bit left but it's VERY old and expired and I have many others to use up before I repurchase this. Oh, it's cruelty-free too.

Repurchase- Absolutely!

March Empties | Favourites and Fails!

Welcome to another Empties post! Apparently, I missed doing my February empties... I'm pretty sure I was just recycling things for that month as I changed up my empties storage area and no longer have that much space for saving up all of my empties. My last empties was January's, linked HERE in case you'd like to check it out.

I have some haircare, skincare. makeup, and one pet health product to share. I'll share links to products in the headings and provide a brief review for each item.

MARCH EMPTIES

SKINCARE AND MAKEUP

Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream 15ml
This was a small sample size. I had heard so much hype over this product. The sample size wasn't enough to form a solid opinion on it and for the price, I would have liked to see some results pretty quickly. I thought it was a decent skin cream but wasn't impressed enough (atm) to go purchase the full-size. Glad I was able to try before I buy though.

Repurchase- Not likely, but possible :)

Tarte TarteGuard Tinted Moisturizer in Medium 25ml
This product really grew on me! It actually checks off all of my boxes for what I look for in a tinted moisturizer. It has a skin-like appearance on my face, has SPF, light-medium coverage, and it's moisturizing. The medium shade is a hair dark for me in the winter but it gives me some colour and I can sheer it out so it works. This sleek bottle also lasted quite a while (although I do alternate my products).

Repurchase- Yes, but I think I can get something at the drugstore that does the same thing for less, so I'll be checking out the drugstore next

Algenist Ultra Shine anti-ageing Lipgloss in Romance 15ml
I LOVED this lipgloss! I did not find it "ultra-shiny" but it certainly was hydrating and reduced the look of lines in my aging lips. The colour, Romance, is a beautiful, everyday pink shade. This lived in my purse and I wasn't even able to finish it up before it expired. (Unable to find online).

Repurchase- Yes!

Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara
This has been my go-to mascara for a few years now. I still try other mascaras but this one still reigns supreme! It gives me both length and volume and doesn't' flake or smudge. Plus, it's easy to remove! Also, cruelty-free and gluten-free!

Repurchase- Yes

Milk Makeup Kush Mascara (Sample- Sephora birthday gift)
This was a sample size and I used it about 3 times before I had finally had enough and tossed it in the bin. I heard a lot of great things about this mascara but it didn't work for my lashes, unfortunately. The bottle quickly became a mess and it gave me the wimpiest lashes! I like a much wetter mascara that will coat my lashes, this barely coated my lashes at all.

Repurchase- NO

HAIR PRODUCTS

Tre Semme Keratin Smooth Flat Iron Smoothing Spray
I have had this bottle for so long I can't even tell you how old it is- it definitely lasts forever! I always use this product when I use hot tools. I should probably use it before I blow dry as well but I have so many products that I'm trying to use up and I don't like to layer too many products in my hair as it gets weighed down. I can't tell if it actually protects my hair from heat, but I'm not going to chance it by going without. It definitely does help with frizz though, and that's enough to make me repurchase it, plus the price is great!

Loreal Absolut Hair Repair Lipidium, Instant Resurfacing Conditioner for Very Damaged Hair
Phew, that's a long name! I had high hopes for this conditioner. It sounded so good! I have damaged hair from bleaching it and colouring etc. Unfortunately, I didn't notice much except maybe softer hair when I used this. I was expecting to notice some repairing going on, based on the name.

Repurchase- Not likely

Olaplex  Hair Perfector No3
I had heard so much about this product doing wonders for people who have damaged hair from bleach etc. I didn't notice any improvement to my hair while using this. Although, I did notice that my hair lightened more easily if I used it before I would do my highlights. I purchased it from Amazon and I've heard it could be a fake but since I hadn't used it before this bottle, I had nothing to compare it to.

Repurchase- Possibly (would probably purchase from Sephora to see if there is a difference)

PET HEALTH

Mercola Ubiquinol Q10 for Cats and Dogs
I've been taking Q10 ever since I found out that I had a heart condition and it's possible that it's the reason that my heart condition improved. Q10 has so many reported benefits that I also give it to my kitty cat. This one by Mercola is easy to dose and is in an airtight pump. I just put a pump in his wet food and he laps it up.

I'm way overdue for an empties post. I can't believe my last one was in January (linked here).

I had so many empties since then that I just had to toss some in the recycling as my empties box was severely overflowing.

I'll keep my reviews for each product as brief as possible and provide links to products whenever possible.

L'Oreal Wrinkle Expert 45+ Day/ Night Moisturizer (gifted)

I LOVED this moisturizer! I have never looked to L'Oreal for my skincare before, just their makeup but this moisturizer was as good as high-end products in my opinion. It was really hydrating and made my skin feel great, and it's SO affordable! Now I want to try the one for 55+ even though I'm not over 55 yet, but the more antiaging the better as far as I'm concerned. Seems that drugstore skincare has really stepped up their game! I was also blown away by Cetaphil's new moisturizer! L'Oreal Can be purchased HERE.

Paula's Choice Resist Moisture Renewal Oil Booster 

I love using oils to seal in my serums and moisturizers. This oil booster has a blend of oils plus ceramides and argan oil. I do like this oil but I feel like any oil gives me the same effect, whether it be argan, almond oil, or avocado oil which are a few of my favourites, and they can be purchased in large quantities at low prices. I usually get mine on iHerb as they are usually even cheaper there. Paula's Choice is linked HERE.

Organic Nation More Than Rose Hydration Mist (gifted)

This is a gorgeous rose toner that's just about as organic as you can get. It's packed with amazing, skin-loving ingredients. I found it very soothing and hydrating and the scent was gorgeous! I love using it to set my makeup and to layer my skincare for better absorption. If it was more accessible and priced lower, I would definitely purchase it. Can be purchased HERE.

Eco Tools Mask Remover Sponges

I adore these sponges. I don't just use them to remove my face masks, I also use them when I cleanse my face and remove my makeup. They are so gentle on my skin but help to remove all traces of dirt and makeup, plus, I get a bit of exfoliation with them. They are made of the same materials used in high-end spas! They are so cheap on iHerb and I'm always stocking up! I replace mine every few months. Can be purchased HERE.

Simon & Tom BB Cream All-in-one Beautifying Balm SPF 15 (Light)

I loved this BB cream! I needed the tiniest amount and it evened out my skin tone and it looked like my skin but better! The only issue for me was that it's too dark for me and this was the shade light :( It lasted forever, too! Can be purchased HERE.

Repurchase- Even though the light is too dark for me, I still may repurchase as I was able to make it work by applying very little. I loved the effect on my skin!

Maybelline Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer

Tinted brow fibres are my preferred way to groom my brows. Unfortunately, I could not make this product work for me. The brush is just too large for me. I always ended up with too much product and it would end up all other my eye area and I'd have to clean it up. I went back to my favourite one by Essence. The Maybelline one has great reviews, so perhaps it's user error. Can be purchased HERE.

Sally Hansen Salon Manicure in I Lilac You

I am decluttering this polish. It looks more like a baby blue on me. Every time I put it on, I immediately want to take it off. So it has to go! I think it would suit someone with a darker skin tone.

Cocoa Locks Chocolate Hair Shake (gifted)

I adore this product! I had amazing results with it. I was losing heaps of hair and once I started the Cocoa Locks, the shedding stopped. I have before and after pics and a full review here. This stuff is the real deal. I was grateful to receive it in PR but unfortunately, it's not in my current budget.  Note: there is also a Hot Chocolate version. Both are good! Can be purchased HERE.

Repurchase- When it's in my budget, yes!!!!

Health & Wellness

GNC SuperFoods Ultra Mega-Green Women's Whole Food Advanced Multivitamin
This was my first time purchasing this multivitamin. It was on sale, so I decided to give it a shot. I also read that GNC had met many standards through 3rd party testing. I have to say, I was impressed. I felt good while taking these and noticed improvements with regularity right away. Can be purchased HERE.

Paradise Herbs Orac-Energy Greens 
This product won Best of Supplements. It has alkalizing greens plus freeze-dried berries and veggies, superfood concentrates, herbal adaptogens, probiotics and more! It's great in smoothies, I just kept forgetting to take it. I do love the blend of ingredients in this product and the fact that it's an award-winner. Can be purchased HERE.

Now Food Glycine Powder
If you follow my blog, you've heard me talk about this product before. I purchased it for its claims to help with sleep. Although I did not notice an improvement with my sleep, it did make a significant difference with my daytime stress levels. I still have stress but not as much. I have to take a full teaspoon of this in my bottle of water. I won't be without this product! Can be purchased HERE.

Bach Flowers Rescue Night Spray
Although this product is certainly not a cure-all for my severe insomnia, it does seem to help somewhat so I always keep it on hand. Bach flowers have a very gentle and subtle action on the system. Would probably do wonders for those with less severe sleep issues. I even take a few sprays when I wake up and it often helps me go back to sleep. It's all natural and doesn't have any contraindications with medications. Can be purchased HERE.

Mercola Sleep Support With Melatonin
This has to be my best discovery for help with sleep in a LONG time! I can only imagine how it would help someone with less severe insomnia that what I have. The first night that I took it, I passed out almost immediately. My body gets used to things, so I no longer pass out immediately, but it does help. I did find that my magic dose is 2 sprays per night and the same if I wake in the middle of the night. The recommended dose is 6 sprays but you can customize it to your needs very easily. I use it every night in addition to other sleep aids. I always buy it in bulk! Can purchase HERE.

Hyalogic HyaFlex for Cats, Oral Hyaluronic Acid, Joint Care

This product is pricey but worth it. Within 2 hours after my cats first dose, he was charging around the house like a kitten. I give him half of the recommended dose to make it last longer. If I need to, I will up the dose but he seems fine with half the dose. There is also a formula for dogs (linked here). I cannot recommend this enough if you have an ageing pet or one who has joint issues. Can be purchased HERE.

Now Foods Better Stevia French VanillaI have this stevia in about 5 flavours. They are not bitter at all and a bottle lasts for years! I use them in everything you can think of from baking to smoothies, coffee, tea and more. It's super affordable and great tasting. Can be purchased HERE.

Monthly Empties | Health, Beauty, Skincare!

 It seems like I just posted last month's empties and it's already time for July's empties post! My little dollar store popcorn box that I use to collect all of my empties isn't overflowing for once! Hopefully, I can do better this month at finishing up some more products!

Live Clean Hydrating Creamy Cleanser
This is my favourite face cleanser so far. It reminds me a lot of cleansers that I've used from spas! It's very hydrating which my dehydrated skin really appreciates! It's all natural and full of fabulous botanicals.  (I also use the foaming one for when my skin is oilier).

Pure + Simple Beautiful Skin Face Cream
I love many Pure + Simple products but my skin is not a fan of this cream. It was my first time trying it, and although the ingredients are great, it's just not hydrating enough for my dehydrated, aging skin.

Repurchase- No

Miracle 10 AHA Cream
I used most of this product but didn't finish it, not because it wasn't good, it was just so old. My error in letting it sit there for years before I got around to trying it out. I think it lost its efficacy over that much time. Luckily, I used most of it but I didn't notice much probably because of how old it was.

Repurchase- Unsure

Hair Care

Tarte Hair Goals Dry Shampoo
I wasn't a fan of this dry shampoo. It didn't absorb the oils on my scalp and the scent was very overwhelming and even after a few sprays, I'd have to exit the bathroom. I purchased this as part of a Limited Edition Tarte kit, perhaps the full size works better.

L'anza Trauma Treatment
I LOVE this product! It's fabulous for dry, bleached and coloured hair like mine! It really made my hair feel softer and helped with conditioning and frizz control. I found out that a little goes a long way and using more does not yield better results. This bottle lasted me a year. Granted, I don't wash my hair everyday and I do test out a lot of hair products.

These 2 products will come of no surprise to my regular readers. These are 2 of my go-to supplements that I will not be without!

Nature's Answer Rhodiola Rosea 100mg/ 60 caps
This is an adaptogenic herb which is supposed to help the body cope with various conditions and stress. I used to find that it single-handedly prevented my early morning wakenings. It's not helping so much in that way at the moment, but I do find it worth taking as it has many benefits. I've tried many other brands and doses and this is by far the best one for me. Note: I only take 1 a day not the 2 recommended.. it works for me.

Healthy Origins CoQ10 100 mg/ 60 soft gels (Ubiquinone)
Ever since I found out that I had some heart issues, Mitral Valve Prolapse (MVP) being one of them, I started taking this Q10. It's been 16 years since I was diagnosed and began taking these everyday and my last echocardiogram showed NO Mitral Valve Prolapse. I couldn't believe it! I didn't follow the cardiologist's orders to do cardio every day, so I attribute my heart repairing itself to this supplement as it's the only thing I did for the health of my heart. After hearing the news, both of my parents started taking this supplement. Q10 has MANY health benefits that go beyond just heart health. I feel that anyone over 40 should take Q10 as it dwindles as we age and affects every cell in our bodies. I'm not a Doctor, this is just my opinion.

Note: I know there are debates about the best form of CoQ10. I've done my research and conclude that there is no reason to change from using the Ubiquinone form at this time.

HUGE Monthly Empties | Skincare, Makeup, Health, Pets

I knew that it's been a while since my last empties post but I didn't realize that my last empties post was actually back in November 2017!  I haven't saved everything that I've used up but I've saved a lot for this post.

Usually,  when Spring arrives, I get in full-on Spring cleaning mode. But, this year, I don't have the urge to Spring clean at all. So, I'll let this clean out of my empties box be my Spring cleaning this year.😁

First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser

This product has a ton of 5-star reviews! I found that it was okay, but I didn't notice anything special. Maybe it's more suitable for younger skin types.

Nip & Fab Exfoliate Glycolic Cleansing Fix

I really enjoyed the way this cleanser worked and seemed to clarify my skin. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use it up before it seemed to turn as I'm always testing new skincare. This product has the symbol that indicates how long it's good for and it's only good for 6 months after opening. I'm sure that would be sufficient time if I wasn't switching my products so much. Nip & Fab is a great affordable brand whose products are actually very effective!

Repurchase: Yes

Simple Eye Makeup Remover

I didn't like this product as it stung my eyes and my eyes are not sensitive. I do LOVE this brand's micellar water which also removes eye makeup. Now that we have micellar water, I do not find a need for a separate eye makeup remover.

Repurchase: No

NeoStrata SecureWhite Brightening Serum

I didn't notice much brightening with this product but it's possible that it was just sitting too long before I got to it and it may have lost some of its efficacy.

Repurchase: No

Glo Skin Beauty Conditioning Hydration Cream

This product claims to moisturize, strengthen, and prevent dryness. I would agree with all of these claims. This product provides long-lasting hydration and I feel it would be great for many skin types including sensitive as it seems to be fragrance-free.

Repurchase- Yes

Paula's Choice Resist Ultra-Light Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum (Normal, Oily, Combo)

I used this product over my Retin-A as I read that it's good to use antioxidants with Retin-A products. I did like it but I didn't notice anything special. I do like Paula's Choice and would try some of her other products that may give me the results I'm looking for.

Repurchase: No

First Aid Beauty 5 in 1 Bouncy Mask

This was just a sample size. I recall that this product irritated my skin and my skin is not really sensitive but can be reactive and acne prone.

Makeup/Beauty

Sonia Kashuk Cream Eyeshadow in Tiger's Eye

I LOVE this cream eyeshadow. I wish I had used it up before it expired but you know how it goes when you love makeup! I have heard that SK is no longer going to be selling makeup. If that's true, it's unfortunate as she makes some great products including my Holy Grail Lipstick (Shine Luxe Sheer Lip Color in Sheer Pink Lust).

Paula's Choice Best Face Forward Foundation SPF 25 (in Best Champagne Beige)

Claims to give natural-looking coverage, shield against wrinkles and dark spots, leaves a silky matte finish. Check, check and check! This colour was surprisingly good for me (it can be hard to choose the right colour online). I liked the finish, the feel on my skin and the SPF 25 coverage.

Repurchase: Yes

Bath & Body Works Fragrance Mist in Secret Wonderland

I love this scent. It reminds me of my signature scent "Fantasy" by Brittany Spears. I know, I know but it suits my chemistry and I've been wearing it since it came out. I don't like to wear a lot of fragrances or perfumes so a light misting of this gives me that hint of sweetness that I'm looking for.

Health

Madre Labs CocoCeps Organic Dark Cocoa Beverage with Medicinal Mushrooms
This product gets featured on my site a lot! I go through about one per month and I've been using it for years. It tastes great in my smoothies and has the benefits of organic dark cocoa as well as cordyceps and reishi mushroom powders (no, you can't taste the mushrooms!). I have an aversion to mushrooms, so this is the only way I can get their health benefits.

Repurchase: Always!

Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies with Biotin
As the name implies, these vitamin gummies are supposed to be good for hair, skin, and nails. I'm not sure if they are doing anything, but I'll keep taking them for a little insurance as I'm experiencing more hair loss as I get older. I have had issues with acne breakouts with biotin on its own but I don't have these issues with this supplement.

Repurchase: Already have 2 on backup!

Nature's Way Calcium & Magnesium Citrate with Vitamin K2 and Collagen
I love that this liquid calcium and magnesium supplement also includes collagen and vitamin K2. Great mix of vitamins. Good for bone health and tastes great. Can also assist with sleep if taken at night time.

Repurchase: Yes

Nature's Way Alive Once Daily Women's Ultra Potency Multi-Vitamin
I've been using this supplement on and off for years. It has an excellent array of vitamins, minerals, superfoods, probiotics, and more. I purchase the one with Iron since I am always a little low in Iron and this vitamin contains 18mg of iron in just one pill (just what my Dr. Recommended). I take so many other supplements, so it's important for me to have a multivitamin where I only have to take one a day. The price is right, too!

Now Foods 5-HTP 50mg
This is an excellent supplement for sleep. I've tried other brands but I prefer this one as I find it more effective. I also like the 50mg capsules as sometimes 100mg can make my sleep more restless. The 50mg dosage allows me to customize my dosage as needed. I take it for sleep but noticed my mood improve when I take these more regularly.

Pets

True Raw Choice Colloidal Silver
If you have a pet, I highly recommend that you keep this product on hand. It has many uses and is good for both cats and dogs.

Colloidal Silver is used against 650 disease organisms found in pets and bacteria, fungi, viruses and infections. Can be used internally and externally to combat yeast infections in the ears. Hyalogic HyaFlex Hyaluronic Acid Feline Hip & Joint Formula

This is a fabulous product! I purchased it for prevention. As my kitty ages, I want to make sure to support his hips and joints. Luckily, this product is easy to add to his wet food and he laps it up! The first time that I gave my kitty this supplement, about 3 hours later he went nuts running around the house like a madman! He played like he was a kitten again. So, although this is a rather expensive product, I will continue to purchase it as it seems to work wonderfully.

I wasn't able to get this empties post up at the end of October, so this is now a month and a half worth of empties!

I was able to finish up quite a bit of product so I will be brief with my reviews and link to products where possible in the headings.

Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Cleansing Face and Body Bar
This cleansing bar is great for troubled skin. It lasts forever so I gave some away as I wouldn't have been able to use them before the expiry date. All natural and Excellent for travel, too!

NeoStrata Night Repair Cream
For all skin types, lack of radiance. I think I waited too long to begin using this product as I had so much skincare to get through before I was able to get to this product. It was very hydrating yet light and I didn't experience any irritation or breakouts but I feel that the product lost its efficacy.

Repurchase- Not since I discovered Robin McGraw's Revelation line, that's my new holy grail!

Pure + Simple Collagen Elastin Plus
This stuff is pricey but oh so worth it! It's a VERY thin consistency, not much thicker than water, but It's the most hydrating serum that I've ever tried. Fabulous to use all year round but especially important in the winter.. figures that I'd run out now.  Note: I only use this at night because it is so costly.

Repurchase- Yes, but I'll wait for the 50% off sale 😉

Nip + Fab Hydrate Dragon's Blood Fix Plumping Serum
I did a full review on several products from this brand (linked here). I used several products from this brand in conjunction and they did wonders clearing up my skin from some existing breakouts that I had from some other skincare that I was testing out prior to this.

Repurchase- Yes! If I experience any breakout issues I will reach for this brand

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Serum
As above, this product in conjunction with some other Nip + Fab products cleared my skin of some horrible breakouts that I was experiencing. (full review linked here). I find the Nip + Fab products very effective yet they are very affordable.

Repurchase- Yes, especially for breakouts

Robin McGraw Revelation Triple Action Brightening Serum
I have a full review coming on this line. I used this line for a month and my skin changed for the better very quickly. Although I already use great skincare, I had incredible results from this line. I noticed a huge difference, I looked younger overall, and others noticed too as I kept receiving compliments!

Repurchase- YES! If I could afford to get rid of all of my existing skincare and replace it all with this line, I would do so in a heartbeat!

Robin McGraw Revelation Triple Action Brightening Night Cream
I used this along with the serum above. I don't think I've ever experienced such amazing results from any other skincare. I know this line is marketed as brightening but I'd say the biggest changes to my skin were firming. I looked younger overall and the changes came quickly.

These products are dye free, SLS free, paraben free, mineral oil free, and cruelty-free!

Repurchase- YES! As above, I would replace all of my existing skincare with this line if I could afford to!

Makeup

Jordana Quick Shine Topcoat
This product did dry my nails really quickly, however, they also began peeling within a day!

Repurchase- Nope

Benefit Gimme Brow in Light
This product just doesn't work for me. I always end up with the product all over my eye area no matter how careful I am. I prefer Essence Make Me Brow (bonus, it's a lot cheaper). I have a comparison of the two linked here.

Repurchase- No

ELF HD Lifting Concealer in Brightening
This product is very brightening, however, it also gets cakey under my eyes no matter how I apply it. Maybe it's user error or maybe my aging skin... if any of you know how to make this product work without it getting patchy/cakey, please let me know!

Maybelline Cover Stick in Medium Beige
This product is so old that I can barely read the label and I have NO idea when I got it. I did manage to finish it up though. It did the job (for my face not my under eyes), the colour is a great match for my skin tone, and it's quick and easy to use. But, I believe there are better products out there these days that I would like to try.

Now Foods Eve Superior Women's Multi
This product has many great ingredients for us women. However, this product requires that you take 3 a day to get the nutritional values on the label. I never took more than 1 a day. I should have known better and have gone back to a one a day multi.

Hyland's Calms Forte Sleep Aid
I've had this for so long and haven't really used it as I prefer the BHI one (above) for my sleep issues. However, this one can be helpful and does have a subtle calming action. I like to take this one occasionally as needed during the daytime.

BHI Exhaustion Homeopathic Tablets
Claims: For fatigue, stress, overexertion, stress, insomnia. Unfortunately, this one doesn't work for me. I will stick to the BHI Calming tablets (above) which work much better for me.

Repurchase- No. Looks like it's discontinued anyway. 😋

La Roche-Posay Micellar Water for Reactive Skin
I received this product for testing purposes and I really loved it. It was very gentle and soothing and did a great job at removing makeup, dirt, and debris. It lasted a very long time! The full review linked here.

NeoStrata Wrinkle Repair Moisturizing CC Cream SPF 30
I did a full review on this product (linked here). I love the ingredients but the coverage was just too sheer for me.

Nip & Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Cleansing Pads
I received several products from the Nip + Fab line for review and their products changed my skin for the better so quickly (full review linked here). I want to try even more from this brand!

Miracle 10 Light Serum
I didn't notice any benefits while using this serum. It may have even been causing a few breakouts, so I used it on and off. I haven't had any luck with Miracle 10 products so far. As you can see, I didn't even finish it and I'm calling it a day with this serum.

Miracle 10 Night Cream
Again, I didn't notice any benefits from the Miracle 10 products that I've used so far and that includes this night cream. I did finish this night cream but I was surprised and disappointed that I didn't notice anything special from using it.

Garden Of Life Primal Defense HSO Probiotic Formula
This is my holy grail probiotic. I have tried others but nothing compares for me. This product keeps all of my IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) symptoms under control. The full review linked here.

Country Life Olive Leaf Extract
This is my first time trying this product. I couldn't believe all of the reported health benefits of this herb, from heart health to fighting infections, the list is extensive. I have to say while taking this I did feel an overall feeling of wellness.

Modern Era Naturals Lipo-Capsulated Glutathione GSH
I received this product for trial purposes. I still have to do a full review on the products that I've tried. These products are really high quality and not like your typical supplements. They are formulated in a way that they are immediately absorbed into the body and they don't get broken down by stomach acids like typical supplements. Glutathione is a potent antioxidant and plays an important role in immune function and detoxification. This line is more expensive than your typical supplements but I can 100% say that it's worth it! Vegan, Non-GMO, and gluten-free.

Modern Era Naturals Lipo-Capsulated Vitamin B12
Again, I received this product for trial purposes. I found that I slept better and had more energy while taking this B12 supplement. This in combination with their Vitamin C helped me get over some severe and prolonged vertigo that I was going through. Live Clean Pink Fire Shampoo

Sadly, I let this sit in the back of my cabinet too long and when I went to use it again, it had turned to pure liquid instead of a gel. I did use it a few times when I first purchased it but not enough to notice a difference. I will purchase this again and hopefully not forget about it and let it expire! Ps. It's very budget-friendly!
