Be.ful CBD Bath Bombs | Take Your Relaxation To The Next Level!

We all know that taking a nice hot bath is a great way to unwind and destress, but add some CBD bath bombs into the mix and you've just taken total relaxation to a whole other level!

I recently tested out Be.ful CBD infused bath bombs. Each bomb contains up to 50mg of active CBD compound, made with full spectrum CBD. They are also non-GMO, Paraben-free, Vegan, and cruelty-free.

This is the first time that I've accepted bath bombs to test for review consideration. That's because I've never liked the ingredients in most bath bombs. I found that I only needed 1/2 a bomb for each bath to get the relaxation that was right for me, so I broke the bombs into smaller pieces and used them that way. This also makes them more affordable. 😊

The scents of the bath bombs are divine. The only one that I wasn't a fan of was the eucalyptus, but that's just a personal preference. After using the bath bombs, I not only left each bath feeling more relaxed and refreshed, but I found the oils in the bomb very hydrating, so I didn't even have to moisturize after my bath. I'm so thrilled to have finally found bath bombs that contain ingredients that I'm comfortable using in my bath!

I don't know how Live Clean does it! These are SO affordable, such great quality, so effective and made with all natural ingredients, not to mention, void of any harsh or toxic chemicals. To find products like this at these prices is normally unheard of!

Marshall's Canada Spring Home + Beauty Haul! #LoveMarshalls

I just love shopping trips to stores like Winners and Marshalls. You never know when you're going to strike gold and find those amazing items at great prices. 

I popped into Marshalls looking for a storage container (cause who can't use that!) and ended up finding just what I was looking for and more! I'm kinda shocked that I didn't buy any clothes since I am total fashion junkie!

Anyhoo, I thought I'd share what I scored! If you're in the market for any of these items, maybe you can find them at your local Winners/Marshalls/ TJMaxx etc..

This wooden storage caddy is actually what I went into the store looking for. It's a bit smaller and more shallow than what I wanted but I think it will do the job. The brand is Polish'd and I was unable to find this brand online. It was on sale for $13CAD from $15CAD. 😍

I've been looking for a new wallet for quite some time. My current one has been broken for a while and I'm quite superstitious about things like that. I feel that if your wallet (which holds your money) is broken, it should be replaced. Well, I finally found the right size with the right compartments with this Nanette Lepore wallet. This wallet has RFID Protection, this is a special lining that protects your credit cards from identity theft. The name on the tag is "PVC French Purse In Bloom." The suggested retail price was $34USD. Marshall's price was $16.99CAD but it was on sale for only $12CAD. Score!

Lastly, is this beautiful BH Cosmetics Bronze Paradise Eye and Cheek Palette which houses 9 eyeshadows plus a bronzer and a highlighter. I have never tried anything by this brand before because I like to see makeup items in person before I purchase them, and I'm pretty sure that BH Cosmetics is only available online for the most part. This palette has some great neutrals (champagne, gold, bronze, taupe, matte brown etc) plus a few pops of colour. And, it has a great big mirror! It appeared that only the highlighter had been swatched so I sprayed the entire palette with alcohol once I got home. I tested out a few of the eyeshadows after I sanitized them and they seem AMAZING!!! This palette was only $12.99CAD.

This palette is Vegan and paraben free!

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I scored at my local Marshalls. After these great finds, I definitely have the urge to go back and see what else I can find!

My Experience:

I'm a huge fan of natural products. This primer is made with fabulous natural ingredients and even has antioxidants and other anti-aging ingredients. Plus, it's free of synthetics, silicones, and parabens.
The product has a nice light fragrance and has the consistency of a light lotion. I use it all over my face, especially my more oily areas (T-Zone), plus I use it as an eye primer! 

I found that my makeup did indeed last much longer. I also became less oily throughout the day. I did not have any skin irritation or breakouts with this product. I even used it one day after my skincare routine without applying makeup over it, fell asleep with it on and still no breakouts from it (some primers can clog my pores and cause breakouts, not this one!)

This product worked fabulously as an eyeshadow primer too, even though it doesn't say to use it in that way, but I did and it eliminated the need for 2 separate primers.

If you are in the market for a natural primer, I highly recommend giving this very gentle one a try!

Even though they show a bit of colour in the photos, they really sheer out and are virtually clear on the lips. There are no shimmer or glitter particles whatsoever in either lip product, thank goodness!

I really like the formula, it's not sticky and not too slick either. I have tried other oil lip treatments that were very expensive and they just slid off my lips within 5 minutes. With these lip oils, I get at least a couple hours of wear. If I eat or drink, I do have to reapply.

There is no real scent or taste, just a hint of the scent of argan oil.

I really like the feel of these on my super dehydrated lips. It feels like a nice treat and quite comforting to my lips, almost like a barrier between my lips and the environment. These also make a great nighttime treatment for your lips if you apply them before bed.

I like the packaging of the lip oils. They're very hygienic and have a squeeze tube with a slanted, flexible, silicone tip as seen above. The packaging makes for easy application.

My Experience:

I find that the liner is very pigmented and glides onto my waterline like a dream. I don't wear black liner in my waterline and haven't for years, but I put it to the test for this post. It wore all day with minimal wear. There was no transfer to my lower eyelids at the end of the day. 

The liner even wore well on my upper lash line with no transfer to my upper eyelids, which are very hooded, so I was quite surprised. I wouldn't purchase this product for the upper lash line as it would become difficult to get a nice thin line, especially over time due to the shape of the pencil. I was able to apply it to my upper lash line using the side of the pencil, which surprised me.

Update: I seem to have mastered being able to apply this thick pencil along my upper lashline and get a nice straight thin line. It just took a few tries. I use the side of the pencil as I mentioned earlier and it's working out quite well for now.

I actually had a hard time removing all of the liner before bed. This is a good testament to the staying power of this liner. I cannot testify as to the 24-hour claims as I didn't wear it for 24 hours. I'm not sure who would wear their eyeliner for 24 hours, on purpose anyway... well, maybe if you're in Vegas!

If you are looking for long wearing, cruelty-free eyeliners for the upper lash line, I highly recommend Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Eyeliners that come in a 3 pack. They are as good as high-end, in my opinion, and better for use on the upper lash line.

Conclusion

Lip Duo: I'm really enjoying the lip products and think they are definitely worth the money. They feel great on my lips and seem to condition them as claimed. I find them better than similar high-end products. I find that my lips get used to balms and lip products so I have to rotate them. Only time will tell if that will happen with this product also, but I'm kind of expecting it eventually.

Kohl Kajal Eyeliner: I think the Kohl Kajal liner is excellent for someone who likes to wear black in their waterline. It glides onto the waterline like a dream and is very pigmented. I will use it for the upper lash line until it becomes too thick to use for that purpose.

Physician's Formula is pricier than most drugstore brands, but some of the products (including these) work as well as higher end brands. If you're also looking for products that are healthier for you and free of parabens, the extra cost may be worth it to you.

Alba Botanica Broad Spectrum Sunscreens: SPF 40 for Face, Sports, and Kids

May is skin cancer awareness month. So, in this post, the spotlight is on protecting our skin with broad spectrum, natural sunscreens.

With summer just around the corner, many of us are thinking about our summer plans, whether it be summer vacations, getting to the beach or just looking forward to more outdoor activities.

When I was young, I used to literally bake my skin in the sun with baby oil. Now that I know better, I take extra care to protect my skin. Even on the most overcast days the UV rays are still out and sometimes even stronger than on a sunny day. 

The lines on my left eye are evidence that the sun even penetrates our car windows. I commuted to work for years with the sun beaming into the driver's side window and my right eye is virtually line free!

I don't believe that the sun is a bad thing. In fact, I believe the opposite- the sun is vital to life and our health. We just have to be sun-safe. That includes applying broad spectrum sunscreen daily, even in overcast weather, and of course wearing a good pair of sunnies.
