Marcelle Vitamin C + Peptide Collagen & Glow Moisturizer + Brightening and Smoothing Eye Cream

November is National Healthy Skin Month #NHSM In honour of this, I wanted to share with you the clean beauty brand Marcelle Cosmetics' new Vitamin C and Peptide Line. These products contain some of my absolute favourite skincare ingredients combined into one product! This saves me from purchasing separate products and having extra steps in my routine.

I'm seriously loving these products! They have a cream-gel-like texture and feel like a drink of water for my skin.  Immediately after applying the Vitamin C and Peptide Collagen + Glow Moisturizer, my rough skin becomes beyond soft and feels firmer.  The lightweight formula is deeply hydrating and the hydration lasts! I normally have to layer multiple products to get the hydration that I'm after, but this one moisturizer does it all, and then some!

The Vitamin C and Peptide Brightening + Smoothing Eye Care Cream is also very lightweight but hydrating. It actually makes a difference in reducing my under-eye puffiness. Often, when I find a very hydrating eye cream, it can actually add to my puffiness. This eye cream softens my lines and keeps my eye area hydrated, and less puffy.

These are definitely new favourites of mine. The ingredients are fabulous but the results really won me over!

Home Health Goji Berry Eye Cream- 1oz

This eye cream is an old favourite of mine. I've tried many eye creams and serums and I always go back to this one or Olay's Ultimate Eye cream, they both work equally well for my hooded eyes but this one is natural. Although the effect is temporary I'll take it! This large 1oz size lasts for a long time. Most eye creams are only 15ml so this one is twice as much.

These are a repurchase for me. I love having these on hand, not only to remove face masks but to use with my cleanser for gentle exfoliation. They make a great companion to any face cleanser to help remove more makeup, dirt, and debris.

I heard so much about this lip balm that I had to try it! It is quite thick in consistency and does a great job of moisturizing the lips. It's quite long-lasting too and has a subtle hint of colour. This big tube should last quite a while. ELF is a cruelty-free brand. This product is no longer on iHerb's website but it is available on Amazon in Berry, Peach, Rose, and Mint.

Olay Ultimate Eye Cream Review | BzzAgent #olayeyes

Happy Fall, everyone! For the first time in my life, I'm actually glad that summer is over and the cooler weather is here! Was it just me or was this summer a hot one!?

Today's post is all about the eyes and a product by Olay that I am testing out.

I was very fortunate to get the opportunity to test out Olay's Ultimate Eye Cream through BzzAgent.

This eye cream is supposed to tackle multiple eye issues, including dark circles, wrinkles, and puffiness. Since I have all 3 issues I was a good candidate for this product.

How it Works:

Ingredients:

Water, Vinyl Dimethicone/ Methicone Silsesquioxane Crosspolymer, Glycerin, Niacin Amide, Isohexadecane, Isopropyl Isostearate, Stearyl Alcohol, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, Dimethicone, Cetyl Alcohol, Behenyl Alcohol, Polyacrylamide, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Benzyl Alcohol, Ethylparaben, PEG-100 Stearate, Dimethiconol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Stearic Acid, Cetearyl Glucoside, Cetearyl Alcohol, Laureth-7, Disodium EDTA, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides. 

The product is a salmon colour but blends out so there is no colour detectable. There is no scent and it is very emollient and moisturizing. 

I used the product for two weeks in the photo below. I am not wearing anything but Olay's Ultimate Eye Cream in the before and after photo, no makeup or anything as I wanted the effects that I experience to be clear. As you can see, the product helped a lot with the hooding on my eyes but not so much with the under-eye bags/puffs. I also noticed a significant reduction in the depth of my crows feet (which only appear when I smile).

I'd like to see the long-term effects as the lift to my upper eye hooding seems to be a temporary effect for now.

I am very happy with the effects and how moisturizing this product is. You only need the tiniest amount for each eye so the 13ml tub will last for a long time.
