Weekly Favourite | L'Oréal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Mist

Welcome to this week's Weekly Favourite!

This week's standout product is Loreal's Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Mist in Medium Natural Tan.

I have been using this product on and off for quite some time. Now that the warmer weather is here and we are exposing more skin, I like to have a healthy-looking tan as I haven't really made the time to sit out and get any colour. And, when I do make the time, I'm much more cautious about the dangerous rays of the sun. I do believe that getting some sunshine is a very good and healthy thing in moderation, but I no longer bake and fry my skin in the sun like I used to. So I've been turning to self-tanners to make my pale, pasty-looking skin look healthy and tanned.

I'm not the Queen of self-tanners, yet, but I'm definitely becoming a regular user. I have been using L'oreal's Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning mist most days after my shower. When I first started using it, I wasn't really impressed with the "360 degree" mister, but I was expecting too much, or maybe is was user error. I thought it was going to work like a "spray tan" and just mist and go. Although it didn't work exactly as I was expecting, it is very easy to apply, you just need a tanning mitt. Right now, I'm using one by St. Tropez. I'm pretty sure any good tanning mitt will do.

How I use it:

After I've showered and dried off, I mist each area of my body and blend it out with the tanning mitt. Sometimes I'll just spray the tanner into the mitt and apply that way. It dries down very quickly, so I do one area at a time.

What I love about this mist is that it dries down right away, it doesn't have to be washed off, and I can get dressed right away with no worries of staining my clothes or sheets as it doesn't transfer! I also appreciate that it doesn't have that unpleasant self-tanner scent. It does have a bit of a strong scent which is kind of floral, but I became used to it, it doesn't bother me, I actually prefer that to a typical self-tanner scent and the scent fades away rather quickly. The colour is natural looking and doesn't have that dreaded orange tan look!

About:
  • L’Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Mist: Get a streak-free tan with this sunless tanning mist; With angled applicator for ultra-even application and natural-looking results — even on the areas that are hardest to reach
  • Salon-inspired self-tan at home: This self-tanner is streak-free, quick-drying and gives you salon-inspired airbrush tanning results at home; Even, smooth, sunless tan develops in 2-4 hours

The colour I've been using is medium. It gives me a nice subtle colour and is buildable, so I'll often let it dry and apply another coat. It applies evenly and is streak-free as long as you are using a mitt to blend it out. I'm definitely going to try a shade darker for the Summertime so I can probably use less product and get a deeper tan, and save the medium shade for the colder months. Either way, I am loving this tanning mist and highly recommend you give it a try if you are looking for a healthy but subtle tan. It's not only super affordable but delivers gorgeous colour and is super easy to use!
