NEW! Live Clean Mineral Clay Rebalancing Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Live Clean always has the most innovative solutions to our beauty dilemmas! 🙆

If you suffer from oily roots and dry ends like I do, you should really check out their brand new Mineral Clay Rebalancing Shampoo and Conditioner. They are the perfect solution to oily roots and dry ends. This is something I suffer from as I don't wash my hair every day and I also bleach and colour my hair so the ends are very dry and damaged!

These products combine kaolin, montmorillonite, and bentonite clays. These clays are known for their cleansing, oil absorbing, and stimulating properties. They've added organic witch hazel, apple cider, tea tree and green tea to purify. Plus Vitamin E and B5 to moisturize! 💦

Live Clean Mineral Clay Rebalancing Shampoo 350 mL
suggested retail: $7.49 - $7.99

Gently cleanses, removing build-up at the scalp and hydrating dry ends
This shampoo has an interesting texture due to the clay. It glides through the hair and lathers up beautifully. It has a light scent and cleans my hair in one shot. I don't need to lather up a second time like I do with some other shampoos. I like to focus the shampoo on my roots as the rinsing process will carry the product through the rest of my hair. My hair is left super clean yet hydrated and my hair doesn't even tangle!

Live Clean Mineral Clay Rebalancing Conditioner 350 mL
suggested retail: $7.49 - $7.99

Hydrates, detoxifies and moisturizes dry ends
The conditioner is also very lightly scented. I focus it on the ends of my hair to mid-shaft. My bleached and dry hair is left super soft and manageable, and tangle free.

I found that these products do exactly what they claim! My oily roots and dry ends are both banished! I'm not sure how they came up with this formula that tackles both issues with one product, but they really do work. I can go an extra day or two without washing my hair since my roots are not oily. Plus, my ends are hydrated. I was actually able to blow dry my hair with a paddle brush and I didn't have to follow up with a flat iron. That is virtually unheard of with my dry, brittle, and frizzy hair. I usually need a flat iron or I have to take a lot of time round brushing while I blow dry.

My normally tangly hair was super easy to manage and didn't tangle at all! My hair comes out clean without being stripped and it's hydrated without being heavy.

Like all Live Clean products these are free of harsh chemicals, made with plant-based ingredients, sulfate free, silicone free, paraben free, vegan, and cruelty free!

These are absolute winning products that I highly recommend!

Look for these at your local Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, and

  1. Great review Amy! I just got my hands on these and am putting them to the test now. So far so good on my end too!

    1. Thanks, Tal! I really wondered how it could possibly work but it really does what it says. xo

  2. Great review Amy I love their hair care Happy Tuesday Dear xo

  3. Thanks so much, Christine! Happy Tuesday! Xo

  4. This shampoo and conditioner sound awesome! My hair is like yours. I can only go 2 days at most without washing. But if this shampoo helps to go longer between washes and detangles, that's a win! I'll have to look for these when I go shopping. Great review as always!

  5. This product is sooo worth it lol

  6. I know this review is a few years old and maybe you don't use the product anymore, but I was curious - does the clay add a slight gritty texture to the hair. I have seen a few new shampoos with clay in them that purposefully do that for that second day look, but they are far more expensive than Live Clean.

    Thank you.

    1. Hi, I haven't used these products in a long time. I didn't experience any gritty texture with these. I was kind of expecting the same thing you are mentioning but I did not experience that at all. They rinsed clean like a normal shampoo and conditioner.
