If I Could Only Have One | Bronzer (s)

Hi everyone,

This is my second post in my "If I Could Only Have One" series. The first one was on lip products and can be found here.

In this post, I share my most favourite bronzer(s), if I could only have one. Plural, as I have one powder bronzer and one cream bronzer. 😊

Unfortunately, I am currently out of both of these bronzers as I am always trying new products so I don't have swatches for this post. But there are plenty of swatches on the internet to be found.

After trying what seems like an endless amount of bronzers, these remain my numero uno and I can't wait to have them in my collection again!

Powder bronzer:
Laura Geller Bronze N' Brighten SRP $33
This bronzer doesn't have any orange tones to it. It has some pink mixed with the bronze, so it gives my skin that natural sunkissed look. Whenever I wore this blush everyone thought I went on vacation! When I suntan, I naturally get a bit of redness to my skin. This blush mimics that natural tan and makes me look healthy and vibrant. This blush doesn't have any glitter to it. Just a natural skin-like finish with a bit of a glow. And, it blends like a dream, no patchiness whatsoever. According to Cruelty-Free Kitty's website, Laura Geller is cruelty-free.

Cream bronzer:
Sonia Kashuk Undetectable Creme Bronzer SRP $14

Sonia Kashuk's Cream Bronzer comes in two shades, Warm Tan, and Rich Bronze. I use the Warm Tan. It's supposed to be a dupe for Chanel's Soleil Tan De Chanel. I've never tried the Chanel one so I cannot comment on that. What I can tell you is that this is the only cream bronzer I've enjoyed using. It has a cream to powder formula and blends onto the skin beautifully. No patchiness or harsh lines with this beauty. I tend to use cream bronzers in the summer and the same is true for this product. If you have aging or dry skin, consider trying this cream bronzer as it won't give you a powdery look and doesn't accentuate dryness or pores. The colour is very natural looking and gives me a healthy tan look. Although I don't use cream products nearly as often as powder ones, I definitely like to have this one on hand for those days that I want to use a cream bronzer. Great for my aging skin! Sonia Kashuk is Cruelty-Free.

What bronzer would you choose if you could only have one!?

  1. I'm always trying, looking, buying new bronzers - so I appreciated your shares! I'm hooked on the Anastasia highlighter bronzer right now in one of their palettes I have. Hope you had a nice vacation too ;)
