July iHerb Haul: Health, Beauty, Skincare, Teeth Whitening, And More!

I just received my order from iHerb and I have some exciting products to share. Some are new to me and others are staples in my home.

As always you can find more information on each product by clicking on the heading for each item.

Here is a link to my last iHerb haul if you are interested in seeing what I purchased last month.

Madre Labs CocoCeps (225g/ $11.66)
I drink this organic dark cocoa powder in my morning smoothie every morning. It's a superfood and very tasty in a smoothie with some stevia and protein powder. It's heart healthy and contains immune boosting Cordyceps and Reishi mushrooms. It's also a great alternative to coffee as it gives you energy without the jitters.

Nature's Answer Rhodiola (60 caps/ $11.04)
This is nothing new to my regular readers. I take this every single day. Just one a day helps with stress and prevents me from waking at the crack of dawn for no reason. It's an adaptogen which is great at helping people cope with various stresses. This product is vegetarian and vegan.

Derma-e Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Toner (175ml / $11)
This is another product that is new to me. I'm a skincare junkie so I'm excited to try it out. I will post a review once I've used it for a while and can form an opinion. I purchased it based on fabulous reviews. Glycolic Acid is supposed to help exfoliate the skin and be much more gentle on the skin than physical exfoliation. It "regenerates collagen, thickens the epidermis and dermis, and evens skin tone."

I use Retin-A at night, so I will use this in the mornings. It's a "PH balanced, alcohol-free toner that helps remove impurities, rebalance skin, and reduce the look of pores and wrinkles." It's also cruelty-free, paraben-free, gluten-free, and vegan.

From an Allure magazine article on acids "Because glycolic is the smallest of all the acids, it yields the most dramatic results. There's a reason glycolic is the acid used the most in anti-aging products and doctor's office peels."

Nature's Way Activated Charcoal (100 caps / $7.68)
This is another new product for me. I purchased this for the reported teeth whitening that it's supposed to be capable of. "Activated Charcoal helps whiten teeth while promoting good oral health by changing the pH balance in the mouth, helping prevent cavities, bad breath, and gum disease."  Note: I would only use this 2-3 times per week. (I will review once I see how it works for me).

Activated Charcoal is something every household should have on hand in case of accidental poisoning, as it will remove the poisoning from the body by binding to the toxins and removing it from the body. I've had it in the past for this reason but thankfully never had to use it.

It's also supposed to help with everything from water filtration, digestive cleansing, reducing cholesterol, as well as helping prevent cellular damage to kidneys and liver, as well as supporting healthy adrenal glands, and more!

Here is a link to a fabulous article on the Ultimate Guide to using activated charcoal.

Auromere Ayurvedic Herbal Toothpaste ( 117g/ $1.24)
This is new to me and I'm excited to see how well it works. I did purchase it on special this month and last month but I haven't tried it yet. I found it under iHerb's "Try and Save" link at the top of their page. I always check there when placing an order for great deals! Now Foods Xyliwhite is my favourite toothpaste of all times, so it will be interesting to see how this compares.

From iHerb: "Neem & Peelu - with 23 Herbal Extracts - Including the "Toothbrush Tress"
Auromere's Ayurvedic Formula combines the naturally cleansing and potently invigorating properties of NEEM, PEELU and 21 other barks, roots, plants and flowers that have been esteemed for centuries by Ayurvedic Specialists for their separate and combined efficacy in maintaining superior dental hygiene."

This concentrated toothpaste is supposed to last 3 times longer than other brands of toothpaste. It's all natural and free of fluoride, gluten, parabens, and more. It's also cruelty-free and vegan!

Dr. Mercola Antarctic Krill Oil (60 caps/ $30.57)
Krill oil is supposed to be the best form of Omega-3's. From Web MD "Krill oil is used for heart disease, high levels of certain blood fats (triglycerides), high cholesterol, high blood pressure, stroke, cancer, osteoarthritis, depression, PMS, and painful menstrual periods."

Wow! I learn so much when I'm researching for my posts so I can share as much helpful info as I can with you!

iHerb is my favourite place to shop for health and beauty products and everything in between. You can find such great deals and International shipping is as low as a flat rate of $4 which I just can't find elsewhere.

It's a great place to find specific products like cruelty-free, gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian etc. You can type any of those phrases (or others) into the search bar on their website and it will only show you products that fit into that category!

You can get $5 off your order by entering discount code AGU725 during checkout or use this link to have it applied automatically.

If you do shop on iHerb, make sure to check out the links at the top of their website for super specials. Some are daily deals that are fabulous and only last 24 hours.

As always, check with your health care provider before beginning any new supplements.

Note: prices shown are current prices and are subject to change.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I purchased this month and maybe found some of the info helpful!
