Current Favourites | Collab With Reviewed By Spacey!

I'm so excited to be teaming up with my blogger bestie, Amna from Reviewed By Spacey for this post! We are both going to share our current favourites. So if you have a moment, hop over to her page after reading about my favourites and check out what she is currently loving. She has discerning taste and always has great reviews as well as fab photos!

If you are a regular reader here, you know that I rarely post my favourites. That's because I am often rotating products that I'm testing out or I'm using the same old products. Right now, I DO have some products that I just can't get enough of and I can't wait to share them with you! I do have a fail to share as well.

Note: I have linked to products in the product headings.

Let's see what I'm currently loving....

I was SO happy when Covergirl announced that they went cruelty-free and I immediately purchased 2 palettes that I had my eye on and I can't get enough of them!

Covergirl Trublend Serving Sculpt Palette in #500 Bloom Babe
This palette is stunning! I love each and every shade and the quality is amazing! The blush is really pigmented, so a little goes a long way. The powders are soft and blend beautifully. I'm tempted to get a back up of it but I'm trying to stop with the backups. 😁

Covergirl Trunaked Nudes Eyeshadow Palette
This palette is the perfect palette for an everyday eye look. You could also do a smokey night look with it as well but I reach for this most days for a super easy, beautiful and natural eye look. The shadows are soft and very blendable. It has a nice mix of mattes and shimmers and the shades are just what I love: a matte cream, shimmery champagne, shimmery light pink, matte mid-tone neutral brown, shimmery taupe. There are some darker shades which I use occasionally as a liner.

Algenist Ultra Shine AntiAging Lip Gloss Reveal
This gloss lives in my handbag. It's my go-to on a daily basis. It's very hydrating, lasts pretty long for a gloss, and isn't too sticky. It really does make my wrinkled lips look more youthful. The colour is a perfect neutral pink that goes with any makeup look.

It's a 10 Miracle Leave-in Product
I've heard so much hype about this product over the years but I figured it was just hype and wouldn't be much different from any other leave-in conditioner. I finally decided to give it a try for myself and I love it! My hair is softer and easier to manage. My hair does look and feel healthier when I use this. Although, it's in a spray bottle it comes out like a lotion. I also have to use just the right amount or it can weigh down my hair. I purchased the big size as it's more than double the size of the smaller bottle and works out to be a much better value. I purchased mine on Amazon.

Ella & Frankie Keep Me Blonde Organic Purple Shampoo
I had never heard of this brand before. I came across it at Marshalls and the fab packaging caught my eye right away. I love organic products as well as products designed to tone my blonde highlighted hair. When I saw this on clearance for only $3, I had nothing to lose. Most purple shampoos can be somewhat drying. I actually find this one to be hydrating. I have been using it daily since I purchased it and I actually noticed that it toned my hair after one use, which I wasn't expecting at all.

You may have heard me talk about this product before. I was introduced to it at the beginning of January. This hot chocolate contains vitamins and minerals to help with hair growth. It doesn't taste like vitamins at all, just like a delicious hot chocolate! I have had amazing results with this product in such a short amount of time. I've always taken multivitamins and supplements so I really didn't expect this to make much of a difference but boy was I wrong! I was shocked when I compared my before and after photos and put them side by side to compare. See the results linked HERE

Invisibobble
I have had some immitation Invisibobbles that worked fine but I find that the real deal works better. They hold my hair without pulling or causing headaches and don't damage or break my hair. I also like they don't leave kinks in my hair!

Alaska Bear Silk Sleep Mask
It's no secret that I have a sleeping disorder. One of the things that I have to do for my sleeping disorder is to sleep in total darkness. I have tried a plethora of eye masks that have been highly recommended etc. This one is the best mask that I've tried so far. The secret to it working so well is that it's very large and very soft and flexible, so it can contour to your face and nose and not let any light in. It also has an adjustable strap which is a necessity. As a side benefit, the silk material is supposed to help prevent wrinkles as your skin isn't being pulled or scrunched up by your pillowcase or an eye mask made of cotton, for example. I purchased mine on Amazon.

Insight Timer App
I've been using this app for quite some time. Once you delve inside this app, you find a whole other world inside. There are so many meditations in this app, you can find a meditation for pretty much anything. I use the ones specifically for sleep many of them work great! Some of my favourites are Yoga Nidra For Sleep and Deep Sleep Guided Meditation. Check it out if you need a meditation for any reason. I use the free version of the app from the Google Play Store.

And, we finish up this post with my current fail!

Maybelline Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer Mascara
I found this on clearance at my local drugstore and I can see why it was on clearance! This brow mascara is anything but precise!! It makes a mess every single time I use it and I've given it so many chances. I just can't win with this product and then I have to spend so much time trying to wipe away the mess and start over. This shade is Soft Brown and it's WAY too dark for me.

A brow gel that I DO love is the Essence Make Me Brow.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I'm currently loving. Let me know in the comments what you are loving right now!

I had so much fun doing this collaboration with my friend, Amna @ Reviewed by Spacey! 😃
