March 2015 Favourites- Beauty, Makeup and Health!

March Favourites!

I wanted to share my first ever monthly favourites for the month of March. I figured better late than never.  I have a little bit of everything from March plus some newer products and some older products that I dug out of my stash.

Twin Labs Iron- has been a life saver. I tested slightly low previously. I don't eat red meat or much meat at all for that matter. The iron has increased my energy, I have better sleep and I'm noticing less hair loss! This one is a low 18mg capsule.

Essence lip combo- My favourite lip combo right now; Essence In The Nude liner with their Nude Love lipstick gives me the perfect nude lip! Sold at Shoppers Drug Mart here in Canada.

Real Techniques Blush Brush is a rediscovery this month. I dusted this baby off when I did my dupe comparison (See blog post on brush dupe) and I'm loving it more than ever. It's the perfect blend of a super-soft, fluffy brush with a little density for a nice diffused look with my blush. (No one wants "crazy lady" blush.)

Silicone Brush Cleansing Pad- Now that I have it, I'm not sure how I lived without it! I got it on eBay for only $1.41 with free shipping!  It really deep cleans my makeup brushes!

Pacifica Malibu Lemon Blossom roll-on perfume-What can i say, I'm obsessed. This is a fragrance that is impossible for me to describe.  It's not like you end up smelling like a lemon, it's some unique blend that is exotic, and has grown on me more than any other fragrance. The roller ball makes it great for throwing in my purse. Bonus- it's cruelty-free!

North American Hemp Co. Never Too Late to Repair Deep Hair Treatment Oil -That was a mouthful.  This is the only hair oil I've used that doesn't just sit on my hair, it really seems like it's getting absorbed into and healing my hair. It's made from a blend of oils. I use it every time i wash my hair. To make it easy to work into my hair, I add one pump of it to my styling cream, mix together between my palms and then apply.

Badger Sleep Balm- Another re-discovery. I've used this for years and although it's not something that's going to knock you out but I do find that I sleep more deeply and dream more when I use this. I massage it on my wrists and temples before bed. It's certified organic and made with Lavender and Bergamot.

Four o Clock, Almond Biscotti tea- Addicting! made with white tea which i love. And, if I had known it would be this good I would have bought them all! It's a little bit sweet but subtle, I found this on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart for .99 cents.

Sonia Kashuk Eye on Neutral Palette- I got this on clearance at target for $7.99.  Although I haven't had it for the whole month, I have been using it every single day. mainly for the crease or for a simple eye look. Although it doesn't have everything I need in one palette, it definitely has come in very handy and I don't see myself ever putting this down!

What are your favourties this month? I love finding out about new products to try out.

XO Amy

  2. Amy, I love how you pulled it all together, and had a photo for each item, it makes it so easy for a make-up novice like me to understand! Lol! I don't wear make-up on a daily basis, only when we go out to eat, or the club, or a friends. I work at home and most days I don't leave, perhaps to grocery shop, but I go clean faced. I love the eye-shadow palette, it would be perfect for me, just enough but not to much. Perfect colors!

  3. Hi Nikki, Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't sure if it was overboard with a separate picture of each item. I'm still using the palette everyday! And, I went by target today and they are now marked down to $5.99 from $20- crazy! Sadly, Target is leaving us here in Canada and I will really miss them! Thanks for stopping by! Amy

  4. What a lot of great looking products! I might have to visit ebay to get one of those silicon brush cleansing pads. I hate washing my brushes, it's a chore that comes around so regularly!
